Practicing guitar with the JM4 looper pedal

Here is a demo and review of the Line 6 JM4 looper pedal. This unit has over 100 tracks and drum grooves in more than 10 styles. These tracks are real recordings laid down by top drummers, bass players and guitarists.

The JM4 makes practicing guitar more effective, and more fun. Just load up a song or groove, and practice with it. For each song you load, the key the song is in is clearly displayed.

There’s up to 24 minutes of recording time, and storage for up to 100 recorded jams. A 2-GB SD card in the SD card slot provides additional storage. You canĀ  use the SD card to import your own songs into JM4 Looper and transpose, time-stretch or loop to your heart’s delight.

Line 6 M9 rocks!

This Line 6 M9 is a great sounding unit. It is an effects modeler, and it is meant to run in front of an amp, just any other guitar pedals. It has tons of effects in it, over 120 of them, and I think they sound kick ass good.

I made some demos of the M9, so that you can get an idea of what sounds this unit is capable of. The distortion sounds get criticized, but I think they are totally usable.

The M9 is my pick for top new product of 2009.
