Here’s a good Rockabilly style guitar riff, played by Robert Renman from www.dolphinstreet.com. It works well over any kind of blues based tune. Pay attention to how fresh the riff sounds when played over an A – D – A chord progression.

Here is a Rockabilly lick that sounds very cool. It’s short but sounds flashy when played up to tempo. It’s not that hard either, since this guitar lick uses a repetitive pick, pull-off, pull-off movement for the bottom 3 strings. Once you get used to this pull-off technique, there are a lots of cool and flashy guitar licks you can do, based on this.
This guitar lick is based on the style of Brian Setzer, one of the most successful Rockabilly guitar players around today.
